This project captures the delicate tension between human presence and vast emptiness through film photography. This series explores the universal human experience of standing at the edge of the known, where geometric certainties of human constructs meet the fluid infinity of the ocean. Shot on film to preserve the raw authenticity of each moment, these photographs reveal individuals in silent contemplation, their backs turned not in rejection but in shared anticipation of what lies beyond. The interplay of rigid lines and organic horizons mirrors our contemporary struggle to find balance between structured society and natural freedom, while the anonymous figures invite viewers to project their own narratives of solitude, courage, and contemplation.
